DURING THIS MONTH’S REGULAR MEETING, Mishkon’s board of directors passed three facilities-related resolutions. Taken together, the authorize expenditures — as funds are available — up to certain stated amounts for six projects. All of them are slated to be undertaken (at least begun) this summer.
Below the jump, I list these projects, and I give hyperlinks to blog posts that have already discussed 3 of them.…1. Painting the northwest face of the sanctuary façade
2. Annual maintenance/repair on the roofs; replace soft spots in sheathing
3. Conduct a reserve study, to forecast our annual reserve funding needs
4. Replace corroded pipe that supplies water to school building; add pavers
5. Apply termiticide treatment inside perimeter walls and other hidden areas (because tenting/fumigation turned out not to be doable after all)
